[Private to Ravenclaw Quidditch]
I want to play.

Yes, there are more important things going on, but – that's crap logic. I can still care about Quidditch; I can still want to play. It's not as if people are only allowed to care about the most important thing of all possible things about which they could care. On that grounds, I'm certain I could find reason to criticise every single person at Hogwarts, professors not exempted.

If we were playing Slytherin, they wouldn't have cancelled it.

I'd like to go with you when you ask the Professors Carrow about reinstating Raveclaw Quidditch.

Guess what?

[Private to Anthony]
I hate Duelling Club.

This is a stupid question, but I can't think of a better one and I wanted to say something: are you alright?

Is there anything I can do? There, that question's a bit better.

Can someone please give me a logical explanation as to why the Wandless should be allowed in Diagon Alley after what happened last Friday? Nobody should have to practise self-defence in order to go to the apothecary, and anybody who suggests that they ought to is wrongly blaming the victim.

[Private to Stephen]
Please let me know if there's some way I can help.

You should read the new Hogwarts Howler.

In their church. On Christmas.
There's a "massacre" pun somewhere here, but I'm not going to be the one to make it.

Mum and Dad asked if I know anything about where Rhiana might be. I know she's a criminal and I don't even really like her much, but Rowena, even if I knew anything, I'm not sure I could've told them.

I met them once. Her parents, I mean. On Platform 9 ¾. And they were are were Muggles and gawking at every little thing and they shouldn't have been there. But in their own church having their own mass – who were they hurting? Who?

Do you ever think it might be easier if we had our own school? For Purebloods, I mean, and probably some of the purer halfbloods as well. It's just tiring, living with people with Muggle ties and caringbeing exposed to all of that.

Molly. Molly. Rowena, and I was surprised to find out Su was a part of all this.

Molly.

I knew she wasn't the Carrows' biggest fan. Well, and that's an understatement. But I never would've expected something like this.

I don't even know what to say.

It has come to our attention that the pamphlet titled "The Muggleborn Threat" is decidedly unapproved by school authorities and likely will be considered contraband. Since their nature was not clearly known, we understand that innocent students may have picked up copies of them. We do not want to see any of you get in trouble for such a mistake. To that end, we will be placing a container in the common room for the safe disposal of these pamphlets. I'd like to emphasize that this is a safe solution - nobody will be punished based on what they place in this container, so if you'd like to take the opportunity to dispose of other contraband, please do so. However, in the interest of full disclosure I must inform you that what goes in the container will not come out, and anyone trying to reverse this charm will suffer consequences.

If you do happen to have any of these pamphlets in your possession, I would advise acting quickly.

If you have any questions, I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Thanks so much for the books, Stephen. You know history's my worst subject, so I could use all the help I can get, and it was really sweet of you to think of me.

How are you? I feel like we haven't seen each other much since the Slug Club dinner.

I must say, that was the best dinner I've had in a while. What a way to start the week.

I miss summer. It's bollocks that we hardly get to spend time together just because we're in different houses.

I wouldn't mind being in Slytherin with you just now. Ravenclaw Tower is a mess. I didn't know Entwhistle and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. I'm not stupid enough to say that to anyone, though. Did you see how they all reacted to Turpin?

It did get me thinking about Rhiana, though. I mean, Elisabeth mentioned her. I never really liked her, but I don't want her dead, either. But then, I don't suppose she'd break into someone's house and attack them, no matter what sort of circumstances she found herself in. Actually, I don't know that she'd really mind dying - after all, she'd get to God's kingdom or whatever, wouldn't she?

I don't know. I'm sorry this is a bit stupid, it's just I don't want to talk to anybody here and I really don't want to do my Transfiguration homework. I wish you were here to distract me.

To Greece we owe the love of science, the love of art, the love of freedom – not science alone, art alone, or freedom alone, but these vitally correlated with one another and brought into organic union.
